Why did you choose AU?

I was looking for a small school and somewhere I could play football.  Averett offered small class sizes and competitive athletics that met my needs.

Favorite place in Danville

I like the River District and all it has to offer.  The restaurants, river walk trail and scenic fountain are wonderful places to enjoy in the evening.

What is one piece of advice you would have for a student choosing Averett?

If you are looking for hands on experience and people who care about you, Averett is the place for you.  People who work every day with a student first attitude are what make Averett great.
