Q. What date should I use?

A. The date defaults to 01/01/08. Faculty and Staff should choose a future date (such as their employment anniversary each year). Students’ accounts automatically expire on their graduation date.

Q. When will my service become active?

A. Your service will become active when you validate your account. You should receive a validation email at the email address you indicate when signing up. If you do not follow up by validating the account through this email, you will not receive any alerts through eCampus.

Q. What is the meaning of the ‘Opt-out’ box?

A. The opt-out box is mainly for graduating students. It means ‘a date when you no longer wish to get messages’.

Q. What if I don’t have a cell phone?

A. If you don’t have a cell phone, sign up for email only notification.

Q. What if my cell phone carrier is not among those listed?

A. If your cell phone company is not listed, then it is not able to subscribe to the text messaging service. You will need to choose to receive notifications by email only.
