Concentration in Biology: Biomedical Sciences

This concentration prepares the student for further education in most Professional health care programs (medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, etc.), allied health programs (physician assistant, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, etc.) and graduate programs in the biomedical sciences. This concentration is also suitable for students desiring careers in biomedical research in academic or commercial labs.

In addition to the general education requirements, the following courses are required:
