Key practices for a consistent Averett internship experience need to be in effect by Fall 2016.

Here is the link for the Averett University internship responsibility agreements that already have been approved by Aaron Howell. Both meet the approved placement and insurance practices. If you would like to remove, add or change anything to the agreements, or use entirely different documents, please have Aaron re-read and approve. Once Aaron has approved and signed the agreements, they can be your standard forms to share with students. Student interns, internship site supervisors, and faculty supervisors will review and sign the agreements at the beginning of each semester. Copies of the signed agreements must be housed in Aaron’s office. Please send them to Mark Sheets each semester.

The only other involvement the CFO’s office will have in this internship process will be housing the agreements. Aaron and Mark have asked that copies of every signed agreement be shared with their office.

Per usual, your Fall 2016 syllabi will need to be submitted by the first day of classes. ALL faculty should submit syllabi to Mary Sullivan (msullivan@averett.edu) and cc AU-Syllabi@Averett.edu. Dr. Fulop will review all internship syllabi to ensure the key practices are being met.
