Private Educational Loans
These loans should be considered if additional funds are needed. Also click here for a comparison sheet for Parent Plus loan versus Private loans. It is recommended that students apply for a private loan with a co-signer. A co-signer assumes responsibility for a loan should the borrower fail to repay. Having a co-signer on the loan often results in a lower interest rate. Please see the information on the Qualities of a Good Co-signer to help you choose a co-signer prior to applying for a loan. Please click Private Loans for a listing of private lenders along with their information and to apply.
Private Scholarships
The Financial Services Office will award private scholarships based on the student’s admission and enrollment information. An application is not required as selections for the private scholarships are based on matching the criteria of the scholarship with the recipient.
