Aeronautics Degrees and Flight Classes Admission Requirements

Students who wish to pursue the Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Management, the Aerospace Management/Criminal Justice degree, or take flight classes need to meet the general admissions requirements for the university as either first-time freshmen or transfer students. Click here for an overview of general requirements.

Due to the high level of responsibility required of pilots, the Aeronautics degree programs place additional standards on students who apply to these programs. These include:

  • Physical health and eyesight that are up to the standards of the FAA’s requirements for airmen. Click here for details.
  • An agreement to avoid the use of illegal drugs and the abuse of alcohol, and to submit to random drug testing. This mirrors the zero-tolerance policies in the aviation industry.
